Yeah, I know, I neglect this poor blog entirely too much. To my defense, though, I've been crazy writing three different books, one being book 3 in the Hunters series. Not to mention my kids are home for summer vacation and my house turns into a circus this time of year!
So, the reason I'm here today - The Darkest War, the second book in Tenna's story, will be released....September 10, 2014!!! Rebel Ink Press will be releasing this one as well.
WOOOOHOOOOOO! I haven't received the cover yet, but I promise to do a reveal when it's in my grubby little hands!
In other news, I'm currently working on a paranormal romance, which may or may not turn into a short series, as well as a Supernatural Thriller. I haven't decided if that will be a stand alone or not. I don't tend to start writing with a series in mind. Sometimes there's just too much story to tell in just one book.
So, anyway, not a whole lot of super cool news on this front. I'll post any news I have on The Darkest War when I know anything.
See y'all on the flip side!
Follow me along the path of publication, some hard learned lessons, as well as some fun with other writers.

I'm baaaaaack!
Well, ladies and gentleman, I am back after quite a long hiatus. No, it wasn't about a break or rest...nope, Internet issues, kids home from school, then a move. Life apparently had other plans for me other than writing.
The kids start school tomorrow. Translation: I'M FREE!
Okay, that's a slight exaggeration, but I will finally get the opportunity to work on my writing, blogging, marketing, networking, etc. without the incessant "Hey mom"s!
At the moment, I have two book available for purchase, or if you're interested in writing a review on your own blog, free download. The first release is titled A Repeating Life.
She Who Hunts is an Urban Fantasy about a Demon Hunter. The book contains violence, gore, sexual content, and language...you have been warned *laughs*.

I have yet to decide what days, specifically, I will be posting on, but I promise to keep you all updated. Until next time, thanks for hanging in there with me. I solemnly swear to never leave you again...if you're lucky. *barks evil laugh*

It's Been a While...
Sorry for the absence, y'all. Don't worry, I was thinking about you...well, kind of. I knew my absence wouldn't exactly interrupt anyone's day or cause anyone to lose any sleep, but I did miss the comments and replies from my lovely friends and fans.
Now for the updates and news...You can now go to my website at clparks.com to pre-order your copy of Repeated Life or send an email to clparks@clparks.com and leave your contact information. Remember, the more people pre-order, the faster the book will be published. So, the book's fate lies in your hands....dun dun dun. Yes, that was the ominous suspense music playing after that last comment.
Okay, so the fate doesn't totally lie in your hands, but it's cool to think your pre-order could make a difference in the swiftness of publisher approval. That part isn't a load of manure.
Next topic...I've been researching lately on marketing ideas. My agent suggested a book to me today by John Kremer called 1001 Ways to Market Your Books. He's also published a book (which I think I own) called Publicize Your Book. I haven't finished the latter, so I'll let you know what I think when I'm finished with it. I posted a previous blog about the typical avenues of marketing such as the social networks Facebook, MySpace, LinkdIn, and Twitter. I'm on all of these sites, so if you haven't befriended me yet, head over and do it now!
So, that's all I have for today. I've got to get back to writing and researching...two of my favorite AND least favorite things to do. Hey, writing and researching are the most enjoyable things in the world to do (next to certain intimate things, of course) until you run into the proverbial concrete wall.
